Role Overview
The Operations & Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of all Chaikaari outlets while managing procurement, inventory, vendor relationships, quality standards, and cost control. The role focuses on maintaining operational excellence, ensuring consistent product quality, and supporting the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across all outlets.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular outlet audits and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor outlet performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with outlet managers to resolve operational issues.
- Support new outlet openings and franchise operations.
Procurement
- Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality and pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and HomeChefs.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels across outlets and the central kitchen.
- Prevent stock shortages, wastage, and pilferage.
- Maintain inventory reports and stock reconciliation.
- Analyze food cost and recommend improvements to improve profitability.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Coordinate deliveries between suppliers, the central kitchen, and outlets.
- Ensure timely distribution of products and materials.
- Improve procurement and logistics efficiency.
Team Management
- Supervise outlet operations teams and procurement staff.
- Train employees on operational procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews and mentor team members.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Track KPIs including food cost, wastage, stock variance, procurement savings, and outlet performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, procurement, or restaurant/café management.
- Experience in multi-outlet food service operations is preferred.
Required Skills
