Your future role

You'll play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our depot equipment, utilities, and infrastructure through proactive and reactive maintenance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Fleet & Warranty, EHS, Industrial, IS&T, Sourcing, SCM, and Operations, while also coordinating with external stakeholders such as UPPCL and Indian Railways. You’ll lead efforts to improve operational effectiveness, reduce downtime, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing faults and maintaining depot equipment, utilities, and infrastructure, but also implementing preventative maintenance schedules and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:
Carrying out fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on plant and equipment in a safe and professional manner
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulations
Developing and managing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
Optimising equipment performance and ensuring achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
Managing contractors and providing technical expertise to the team

B.Tech degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Regular Course) with an Electrical Supervisor Certificate
Experience in plant maintenance with 8–10 years (B.Tech) or 12–14 years (Diploma) preferred
Working knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards
Hands-on experience with Railway OHE, switchyards, and 25KV & 11KV systems
Experience in maintaining plant utilities, such as air compressors, EOT cranes, pumps, sumps, STP, and ETP
Experience with DG operation and TPM systems
Proficiency in work permits, including LOTO and working at height
Ability to prepare SOPs, HIRA, and LOTO instructions
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English and Hindi
