We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Payments domain expertise to support analysis, documentation, testing, and delivery of payment and settlement solutions. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and testing teams to ensure accurate implementation of payment functionalities across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst for Payments and Settlements initiatives across enterprise systems
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to payments
- Understand and work with Channels, Order Management systems, Payment Engines, and Account Management systems
- Prepare and maintain:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Process flows and use cases
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development and testing teams
- Support and execute functional testing, including:
- Functional testing
- Sanity testing
- Regression testing
- Pre-production and post-production validation
- Validate end-to-end payment flows and ensure correct system behavior
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve requirement gaps, defects, and change requests
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support business sign-offs
Required Skills & Domain Expertise
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Payments or Settlements domain
- Strong understanding of payment processing concepts and flows
- Basic functional knowledge of:
- Channels (Digital / Branch / API-based)
- Order Managers
- Payment Engines
- Account Management systems
- Exposure to Payments messaging formats, including:
- MT (SWIFT MT messages)
- MX (ISO 20022 messages)
- Solid understanding of Business Analysis methodologies and concepts
- Experience with process documentation and functional walkthroughs
- Hands-on experience supporting User Testing and Validation
Testing & Validation Skills
- Experience executing and supporting:
- Functional testing
- Sanity & regression testing
- Pre-production and post-production testing
- Ability to validate payment transactions and reconcile expected vs actual behavior
