We are seeking applications for the position of Hydraulic Expert in various cities across India.
Missions/Main Duties:

Lead and undertake hydraulic, hydrological, and waterway assessments for the Urban Water Metro Project.

Analyze river, canal, lake, estuarine, and coastal hydraulic conditions affecting water metro routes and terminal locations.

Conduct hydraulic studies related to water levels, currents, tides, waves, flow velocities, sediment transport, scour, and navigation safety.

Review and recommend suitable locations and designs for ferry terminals, jetties, floating pontoons, berthing facilities, and associated waterfront infrastructure.

Carry out flood level assessments, drainage studies, waterway capacity analysis, and navigational channel evaluations.

Develop and review hydraulic and hydrodynamic models to assess the impact of proposed infrastructure on water bodies.

Evaluate sedimentation, erosion, scour potential, and bank protection requirements.

Provide design inputs for dredging requirements, channel maintenance strategies, and navigation aids.

Coordinate with structural, geotechnical, survey, marine, and environmental experts to ensure integrated project planning and design.

Review engineering drawings, technical reports, design calculations, and contractor submissions related to hydraulic works.

Support preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), feasibility studies, tender documents, and technical specifications.

Ensure compliance with applicable national and international standards, environmental regulations, and best engineering practices.
Profile/Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Master's Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or equivalent discipline.

Minimum 7 years of overall professional experience in hydraulic and water resources engineering.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the planning, design, analysis, and implementation of hydraulic infrastructure projects such as ferry terminals, inland waterways, barrages, weirs, dams, hydel projects, navigation channels, river training works, and waterfront infrastructure.
