Position Summary
The Takeaway Executive is responsible for handling customer takeaway orders efficiently and accurately. The role includes order taking, billing, coordinating with the kitchen, packaging food properly, and ensuring timely delivery or pickup while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities Order Handling
- Receive takeaway orders via counter, phone, or online platforms.
- Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
- Confirm order details, payment method, and pickup/delivery time.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation.
Packaging & Dispatch
- Ensure proper packaging of food items as per company standards.
- Verify order accuracy before handing over to customers or delivery personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of takeaway counter.
- Ensure correct labeling and billing of orders.
Billing & Payments
- Generate accurate bills using POS system.
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments.
- Maintain daily cash records and assist in reconciliation.
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers politely.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Ensure a smooth and positive takeaway experience.
- Promote special offers or upsell items when appropriate.
Hygiene & Compliance
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in takeaway area.
- Follow food safety and packaging standards.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and health regulations.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years experience in restaurant/QSR preferred.
- Freshers can apply (training provided).
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for billing.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per hour
