Support the evaluation of new trends and innovations in electro-optics, including countermeasures and advanced signal processing for electronic warfare applications
Guide the design, specification, and development of electro-optical and photonic systems for aerospace and defence, such as sensors, laser systems, targeting, and navigation devices.
Participate in strategic reviews (PDR/CDR/FDR), ensuring system design meets mission requirements and adheres to space/defence standards.
Evaluate technology options for EO systems, focusing on performance, radiation tolerance, reliability, and lifecycle cost-effectiveness.
Oversee integration, testing, and qualification of EO subsystems within military and aerospace platforms.
Mentor engineering teams, provide technical audits, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen in-house expertise.
Advise on risk identification, mitigation planning, and implementation of quality and reliability best practices.
