The Maintenance In-Charge is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure uninterrupted operation of machinery, equipment, utilities, and facility infrastructure. The role focuses on maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining maintenance records.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance
- Ensure proper functioning of all kitchen, production, electrical, mechanical, and utility equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for machinery and facilities.
- Attend and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor the performance and condition of machines and recommend improvements.
Utility Management
- Oversee maintenance of electrical systems, DG sets, compressors, water pumps, RO plants, boilers, and other utilities.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity, water, and other essential services.
Team Supervision
- Supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, fitters, and external service providers.
- Allocate maintenance tasks and monitor work completion.
- Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff.
Spare Parts & Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance consumables.
- Raise purchase requisitions for required materials and services.
- Monitor spare consumption and control maintenance costs.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and organizational policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and equipment history.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
- Track equipment downtime and analyze root causes of recurring failures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, ITI, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in food processing, industrial kitchens, manufacturing, or production facilities.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
