Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to supervise and execute Site Levelling and Area Grading works. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, quantity measurements, coordination with client/consultants, and ensuring timely completion of the project while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site levelling, earthwork excavation, filling, grading and compaction activities.
- Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
- Manage deployment of excavators, dozers, graders, rollers, dumpers and other construction equipment.
- Take daily site measurements and prepare work progress reports.
- Ensure quality of earthwork, compaction and levels as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with surveyors for layout, benchmark verification and finished levels.
- Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), weekly progress reports and quantity statements.
- Verify subcontractor/vendor bills and maintain measurement records.
- Coordinate with client representatives, consultants and project management team.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
- Monitor labour productivity and equipment utilization.
- Assist in preparation of RA Bills, variation statements and material reconciliation.
- Resolve technical issues arising during execution.
Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in Site Levelling, Area Grading, Earthwork, Infrastructure, Industrial or Power Plant Projects.
- Experience in handling heavy earthmoving equipment is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of total station/survey activities.
- Knowledge of earthwork quantity calculations and measurement.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Industrial projects, power plants, mining, reservoirs, roads or large infrastructure projects.
- Experience with client billing, RA bills and project documentation.
Salary
Negotiable based on qualification and experience.
Immediate joining candidates will be preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
