Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
> Own and drive demand planning processes across product
categories/regions
> Develop and maintain statistical and consensus forecasts
> Improve forecast accuracy, bias, and demand variability metrics
>> Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance for demand consensus
(S&OP cycle)
>S&OP / IBP Process Management
>Facilitate and manage S&OP / Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
>cycles
>Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans
> Identify demand risks and opportunities and propose mitigation
strategies
>Stakeholder Management
>> Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply
Planning, Finance)
>> Act as a bridge between business and technology teams
>> Drive stakeholder discussions with data-backed insights
>> Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Analyze demand patterns, seasonality, promotions, and market trends
Recommend and implement improvements in forecasting models and
planning processes
>Leverage data for scenario planning and what-if analysis
>> Technology & Tools
>> Work on demand planning tools such as:
>> SAP IBP / APO / Kinaxis / o9 / Blue Yonder (JDA)
>> Support implementation, enhancement, or transformation projects
> Ensure data accuracy and system adoption
Required Skills & Experience
>> *> 4–7 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning with strong Demand
>Planning exposure
>> Deep understanding of:
>> Forecasting techniques (statistical & business-driven)
>> Demand sensing, segmentation, and lifecycle planning
>> Experience in S&OP / IBP processes
>> Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large datasets
>> Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and exposure to analytics tools
>> Experience working with planning tools (SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, o9,
Blue Yonder)
>> Good to Have
> Exposure to CPG / Retail / Manufacturing industries
>> Experience in digital supply chain transformation projects
>> Knowledge of Python / SQL / Power BI / Tableau
>> Understanding of supply planning, inventory, and distribution
planning
