Requirement Assistant General Manager/DGM - F P & A
To drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for MKK Metals, enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting business profitability. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights on cost, margins, and operational efficiency, especially in a commodity-driven (steel-intensive) environment.
A.Role Dimensions
1. Budgeting & Forecasting
· Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and rolling forecasts
- Coordinate with business, operations, and procurement teams for bottom-up planning
- Track actuals vs budget/forecast and highlight key risks & opportunities
2. Financial Analysis & Business Partnering
· Provide monthly P&L analysis with detailed variance insights (price, volume, mix, cost drivers)
- Partner with operations to monitor material cost (steel), conversion cost, and plant efficiencies
- Analyse product-wise, customer-wise, and segment-wise profitability
- Support leadership with data-backed decision-making and scenario analysis
3. Cost Management & Margin Improvement
· Track and analyse raw material cost trends (especially steel) and impact on margins
- Drive initiatives for cost optimization and margin enhancement
- Work closely with procurement and production on cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
- Develop and maintain standard costing and variance analysis frameworks
4. MIS & Reporting
· Prepare and present monthly MIS, dashboards, and management reports
- Strengthen financial reporting systems and analytics capabilities
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management
5. Working Capital & Cash Flow
· Monitor inventory levels, receivables, and payables
- Support cash flow planning and working capital optimization
- Track key metrics like inventory turns and cash conversion cycle
6. Strategic Planning & Projects
· Support long-term business planning and strategy (3–5 year plans)
- Conduct financial modelling for capex, expansion, and new projects
- Evaluate business cases, ROI, IRR, and payback analysis
7. Controls & Process Improvement
· Ensure adherence to financial controls and internal policies
- Drive improvements in FP&A processes, automation, and data accuracy
- Work with ERP (SAP/others) for data extraction, reporting, and system enhancements
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Accuracy of forecasts and budgets
- Timeliness and quality of MIS/reporting
- Margin improvement / cost savings identified
- Working capital efficiency
- Quality of business insights and decision support
B.Ideal Candidate
Qualification:
· CA Inter or CMA Inter with 8+ years of experience OR
- Non-CA (MBA Finance / B.Com / equivalent) with 12+ years of relevant experience
Experience:
· Experience in FP&A / Business Finance roles
- Preferably from manufacturing / metals / engineering industry
- Strong exposure to costing, MIS, and financial analysis
- Experience in ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
