The Safety & Compliance Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring safety programs and compliance procedures to ensure adherence to transportation regulations, company policies and industry standards. This role works closely with operations, drivers, carriers and management to maintain a safe, compliant and efficient logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company safety and compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation and logistics regulations.
- Monitor driver qualification files, training records and compliance documentation.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Track and maintain regulatory filings, permits, licenses and certifications.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees and transportation personnel.
- Monitor Hours of Service (HOS), vehicle maintenance records and operational compliance requirements.
- Analyze safety performance metrics and prepare compliance reports for management.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary policy updates.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Manage corrective and preventive action plans to improve overall compliance performance.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
