Responsibilities:

Drive client interactions and outcomes when leading projects and ensuring quality and on-time delivery of all client deliverables.

Develop comprehensive project plans and conduct project administration including progress reporting, risk/issue identification & mitigation for multiple simultaneous projects.

Collect and analyze complex data, evaluate information & systems and develop outcome reports with logical conclusions.

Manage and develop a team of staff and seniors both when leading projects as well as part of larger engagements. Review performance of staff and provide constructive feedback.

Identify areas of improvement and implement actions to achieve continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.

At least 5 years of experience in external or internal audit including internal control testing and documentation, internal control assessments, auditing or reviewing quarterly financial reports, analyzing business risks, implementing new compliance standards and risk assessments, and report writing.

Previous experience of building and managing small teams in a public accounting firm.

Hands on experience of SOX 404 compliance.

Demonstrated experience of implementing continuous improvement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated skills in effectively working with all levels of management, coaching & mentoring junior staff.

Strong motivation to meet client deadlines, provide excellent client service and maintain strong client relationships.

Strong ability to multitask, juggle multiple clients, and manage various deadlines.

Ability to travel as needed.
