Position Title: Lead Electronics Hardware Design Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to design, develop, and validate electronic circuits and systems across various projects. This role requires strong technical leadership, deep knowledge in analog/digital circuit design, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams from concept through production.
Specific Responsibilities:
● Lead the end-to-end design and development of electronic hardware including analog,
digital, power, and embedded systems.
● Create detailed schematics, select components, and perform PCB layout design and
optimization.
● Conduct simulations and validation tests to ensure performance, reliability, and
compliance with applicable standards.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and QA)
to ensure seamless integration of hardware with system-level design.
● Drive design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
● Manage design documentation, BOMs, and support the transition from prototyping to
manufacturing.
● Support failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action planning.
● Stay up to date with industry trends, components, and best practices in electronics
design and manufacturing.

Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering or related field.
● Minimum 8 years of experience in electronics hardware design, including leadership of
design projects.
● Strong experience in designing and debugging analog and digital circuits, including
power supplies, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, USB,
etc.).
● Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium, Eagle, OrCAD, etc.) and circuit simulation
software.
● Solid understanding of EMC/EMI considerations and compliance standards.
● Experience with product lifecycle development and design for manufacturability (DFM).
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical teams effectively.
● Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with Embedded Systems and Firmware interaction.
● Knowledge of automotive, industrial, or consumer electronics standards and protocols.
● Familiarity with FMEA, risk analysis, and safety-critical design methodologies.
Position type and hours of work:
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 8:00pm, 40 hrs per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Working environment:
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners etc. The role also uses typical engineering test equipment such as soldering iron, meters, power supplies, oscilloscope etc.
