Job Summary
SecondMedic Healthcare is looking for a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our Collection Center team. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood and other diagnostic samples, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining sample quality, and coordinating with laboratory logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection (Venipuncture and Capillary Collection) for patients of all age groups.
- Collect, label, pack, and dispatch samples as per SOP.
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
- Ensure accurate patient identification before sample collection.
- Follow infection control, safety, and quality guidelines.
- Coordinate with logistics for timely sample transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the collection center.
- Handle patient queries professionally and provide excellent customer service.
- Manage collection center inventory and consumables.
- Support health camps and home sample collection when required.
Required Qualifications
- DMLT / MLT / B.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.
- Certified Phlebotomy training preferred.
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Skills Required
- Excellent venipuncture skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of sample handling and laboratory protocols.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory, hospital, or collection center.
