Techdome is hiring a Business Development Executive – Government Tenders & Sales in Hyderabad / Indore to drive growth across government and public sector accounts. This role focuses on identifying and managing tender opportunities, bid preparation and submission, lead generation, relationship management with government departments and PSUs, and leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and business outcomes.

Identify and track relevant tenders on GeM, CPPP and state procurement portals

Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids, proposals, and tender documentation.

Manage the end-to-end tender lifecycle, including eligibility checks, compliance documentation, EMDs, and bid submissions.

Build and maintain relationships with government departments, PSUs, educational institutions, and channel partners.

Generate and qualify new business opportunities through online research and market intelligence.

Manage the complete sales pipeline from prospecting and proposal submission to negotiation and closure.

Prepare capability statements, presentations, RFP responses, and business proposals.

Track government procurement trends, competitor activities, and upcoming opportunities.

Maintain accurate records of tenders, sales activities, and business development initiatives.

Use AI tools to streamline research, proposal writing, documentation, and business workflows.

1- 3 years of experience in government tendering, business development, or B2B sales.

Strong working knowledge of GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and CPPP (Central Public Procurement Portal).

Experience in tender documentation, bid preparation, and online bid submission.

Proven experience in lead generation and sales pipeline management.

Strong proposal writing and business communication skills.

Excellent documentation, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong online research and analytical skills.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience working with government departments, PSUs, or public sector clients.

Familiarity with vendor registrations, digital signatures, and procurement compliance processes.

Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot for research, proposal drafting, and productivity enhancement.

MBA in Marketing or Business Development is an added advantage.

Understanding of government procurement policies and public sector buying processes.
