Role : AVP - Wholesale Banking/Corporate Lending
Key Responsibilities –
- Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, understanding their business needs and providing customized financial solutions to NBFCs, Fintech and MFI/MSME Industries.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients to expand the wholesale banking portfolio.
- Diversifying the source of business generation by making Strategic Alliances & Partnerships with prospective business partners (Fintech) & channel partners (DSA’s).
- Managing the end-to-end process from Onboarding a partner to Integration & Delivery.
- Credit & Risk Management:
- Conduct credit assessments, credit appraisal, financial analysis, and due diligence for new and existing clients.
- Prepare credit proposals, ensure timely renewals, and monitor portfolio quality to mitigate risks.
- Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal guidelines.
- Portfolio Management:
- Monitor client accounts to identify growth opportunities, potential risks, and changes in financial condition.
- Ensure timely resolution of client issues and service requests in coordination with internal departments.
- Market & Industry Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and risks.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Monitoring Funds utilization & Statutory Compliances.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with product, operations, treasury, and other relevant teams to deliver integrated financial solutions.
- Contribute to team goals and share knowledge with peers.
Job Requirement –
o MBA-Finance/CA or equivalent qualification
o 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in wholesale lending
o Strong Networking and Relationship Building skills
o Ability to structure, discuss the deal contours with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
o Excellent skills in analyzing financial statements, interpreting data, calculation of key ratios
o Ability to do macros -economic analysis and understand sectoral drivers, relevant for company’s business
o Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Hindi as well as English
