Job Summary
We are seeking a courteous, organized, and customer-focused Front Desk Receptionist to manage the hospital's reception area and provide exceptional service to patients and visitors. The ideal candidate will handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and administrative support while ensuring a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, visitors, and attendants in a professional and friendly manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records accurately.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments for consultants and specialists.
- Manage walk-in patients and coordinate with doctors regarding appointment availability.
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries efficiently.
- Guide patients regarding hospital services, consultation fees, and procedures.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
- Generate patient registration forms, bills, and receipts using the Hospital Management System (HMS).
- Collect consultation fees and process payments through cash, card, UPI, or online modes.
- Coordinate with departments such as Laboratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Billing for smooth patient flow.
- Inform patients about appointment delays or schedule changes.
- Respond to patient concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with hospital policies.
- Prepare daily reports on appointments, patient registrations, and collections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Front Desk Receptionist, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply.

- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Email, Internet).
- Experience with Hospital Management Systems (HMS) is an advantage.

- Ability to speak English, Telugu, and Hindi.
Working Hours
- Rotational shifts as per hospital requirements.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
