About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and client-focused Interior Designer who can independently manage projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should be creative, technically sound, and confident in interacting with clients, understanding their requirements, presenting design concepts, and ensuring seamless project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their lifestyle, functional requirements, budget, and design preferences.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
- Develop innovative interior design concepts, mood boards, space planning, and 2D/3D designs.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, layouts, and presentations.
- Present design proposals to clients and confidently handle revisions and feedback.
- Prepare quotations, BOQs, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with the execution team, vendors, and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Guide clients in selecting materials, finishes, colors, lighting, furnishings, and décor.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with the client's budget.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resolve client concerns professionally while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of residential interior design principles.
- Excellent client handling, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray/Enscape/Lumion, and MS Office.
- Good understanding of modular furniture, materials, finishes, and execution processes.
- Ability to prepare BOQs and estimate project costs.
- Strong space planning and visualization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 2–5 years of experience in residential, commercial interior design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom furniture will be an added advantage.
