Job description
Applications are invited for One Posdoctoral Fellowship under the Guidance of Dr. Bharat K. Sharma (Associate Professor) at the Department of Physics, Amrita School of Physical Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore.
The fellow will undertake independent and interdisciplinary research in the field of theoretical nuclear or astro-physics.
The candidate must have a PhD degree in theoretical nuclear or astro- physics, an established track record in neutron star physics, and excellent computational skills.
The successful applicant will pursue research in one of the following subjects: Radial and non-radial oscillations of dark matter admixed neutron stars, Cooling of neutron stars, and Neutron star properties in modified gravitational theories.
