Node.js Developer – Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain efficient server-side applications using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, implement, and document scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile clients.
- Collaborate with front-end engineers to seamlessly integrate UI with backend logic.
- Manage database schemas and queries with MySQL for optimal performance.
- Write clean, reusable, and testable code; conduct code reviews and participate in debugging sessions.
- Optimize application performance, monitor for bottlenecks, and implement caching strategies.
- Ensure application security through authentication/authorization (e.g., JWT) and data protection measures.
- Implement middleware for logging, validation, and error handling in Express.js.
- Deploy and maintain backend services, supporting CI/CD workflows and collaborating with DevOps.
- Stay current with the Node.js ecosystem and best practices, continuously driving improvements
