Fairy Tales is hiring an experienced and dynamic Interior Designer - Sales Specialist to join our team in Akkulam, Trivandrum.
In this dual-role position, you will combine your creative design skills with customer-facing sales expertise. You will engage with clients, understand their vision, pitch tailored design concepts, and guide them seamlessly from the initial consultation to closing the deal and executing the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation & Sales: Interact with walk-in and prospective clients to understand their interior design needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Design Creation: Prepare 2D layout plans, 3D renderings, and mood boards tailored to client specifications.
- Pitching & Closing: Present design concepts and cost estimates convincingly to clients to close sales.
- Site Visits: Conduct site measurements and coordinate with site supervisors/contractors to ensure design accuracy during execution.
- Material Selection: Assist clients in choosing appropriate materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture.
- Relationship Management: Maintain post-sales relationship with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in interior designing paired with a strong background in client-facing sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI , AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Photoshop, or relevant design software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills in English and Malayalam.
- Attributes: Confident, presentable, goal-oriented, and passionate about interior aesthetics.
