We are seeking an InfoSec Engineer to help protect our people, applications, and data. This is an early-career role for someone passionate about cybersecurity who wants to grow under the mentorship of senior engineers. You'll support day-to-day security operations, assist with vulnerability management, and contribute to building secure systems across the organization.
- Assist with monitoring security alerts, triaging events, and escalating incidents as needed.
- Support vulnerability scanning, patch tracking, and remediation follow-up.
- Help implement and maintain security tooling (SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, scanning tools).
- Participate in access reviews, configuration hardening, and security control checks.
- Document security procedures, runbooks, and findings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address security gaps.
- Learn and apply secure coding and infrastructure best practices.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT, software engineering, or security (internships and projects count).
- Foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts (authentication, encryption, common attack types).
- Basic scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their security basics.
- Familiarity with IAM concepts (SSO, MFA, OAuth/OIDC).
- Entry-level certifications (Security+, AWS Cloud Practitioner) or active progress toward them.
- Participation in CTFs, home labs, or open-source security projects.
- Degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
