Job Summary
Frutta is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Specialist / Senior Accounts Specialist to manage key accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end closures, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in finance operations, a good understanding of GST and TDS, and the ability to independently manage core accounting activities in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing, including management fee calculation and invoice creation for corporate clients
- Handle accounts receivable, including ageing, reconciliations, collection tracking, and reporting
- Support accounts payable processes, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements
- Perform cash management, journal entries, and basic finance operations
- Prepare accruals, analyze expenses, and support month-end closure activities
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the month-end close checklist
- Manage GST and TDS calculations, reconciliations, and compliance support across regions
- Account for fixed assets, depreciation, and prepaid expenses
- Prepare schedules, documentation, and reports for audits and financial reporting
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and accounting records
- Proactively identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and escalate critical risks when required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial operations
- Strong knowledge of billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and month-end closures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting / ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Profile
- Experience in a service, hospitality, food & beverage, or multi-location business environment will be an added advantage
- Process-driven, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic business setup
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
