CNC Maintenance Engineer – Job Description A CNC Maintenance Engineer is responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults. Troubleshoot CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi Electric CNC controllers. Read and understand electrical drawings, PLC logic, and machine manuals. Maintain machine accuracy and performance through regular inspections. Replace faulty components such as motors, drives, sensors, relays, and bearings. Record maintenance activities and prepare service reports. Support production teams in reducing machine downtime. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
