Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Estimation Engineer (Civil) to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects.This position requires a strong background in Civil engineering along with the ability to analyze schematics and apply continuous improvement methodologies. The Estimation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates based on project specifications, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Develop BBS,BBM,Finishing quantities as per specificstions and details
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance estimation processes and accuracy.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other programming tools to create and modify technical drawings as needed.
- Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing estimation findings and recommendations for management review.
Qualifications & Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and specialised course in Quantity Estimation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with programming tools is highly desirable..
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in Quantity Survey and Estimation for Construction Projects.
