Vashishti is a farm-rooted premium food brand known for A2 cow ghee, raw honey sourced from Kashmir & Himachal, infused honey, jams, spreads, pickles, and other natural products. We focus on quality. We are expanding our production unit in Umbergaon and looking for a dedicated Food Processing Technician to join our growing team.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Food Technologist to oversee product quality, safety, shelf life, and product innovation across our range of natural food products.
The role involves working closely with production teams, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and developing improved formulations for better shelf life and taste.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure all products meet Food Safety and Standards Authority of India standards.
- Monitor quality control for ghee, honey, jams, spreads, and pickles.
- Implement food safety protocols and hygiene standards.
- Conduct periodic product testing and quality checks.
Shelf Life & Product Stability
- Develop shelf life studies for products.
- Optimize natural preservation methods.
- Improve texture, taste, and stability of jams, spreads, and pickles.
Product Development
- Develop new recipes and product innovations.
- Work on clean-label formulations with minimal additives.
- Help create new honey-based or fruit-based products.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain FSSAI documentation and product compliance records.
- Assist with food labeling, nutritional charts, and ingredient declarations.
- Ensure packaging meets regulatory standards.
Supplier & Raw Material Quality
- Evaluate raw materials from farmers and suppliers.
- Standardize quality parameters for honey, milk, fruits, and spices.
- Develop quality SOPs for procurement and processing.
Production Support
- Improve production processes for consistency.
- Help scale production while maintaining authentic taste and quality.

Experience
- 1–3 years preferred (freshers with strong knowledge can apply).
Key Skills
- Knowledge of food preservation and shelf-life testing
- Understanding of FSSAI regulations
- Experience with jam, honey, dairy, or pickle products
- Quality assurance & documentation
- Basic R&D skills for product innovation
Preferred Skills
- Experience with natural or artisanal food brands
- Knowledge of clean-label formulations
- Familiarity with small-scale food production units

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹432,000.00 per year
