Rare Planet is a leading Indian lifestyle and souvenir brand that celebrates India's rich culture through beautifully designed handcrafted products, gifts, and home décor. We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Team Lead to manage our retail store operations and lead the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and guide the store team to achieve sales targets.
- Deliver an excellent customer shopping experience.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching when required.
- Manage staff attendance, shift scheduling, and task allocation.
- Ensure visual merchandising and store displays are maintained as per company standards.
- Handle customer queries and resolve escalations professionally.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Ensure billing, cash handling, and store opening/closing procedures are followed.
- Prepare daily sales and operational reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a Team Lead/Senior Sales Associate role preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and MS Excel.
