Role Description
The Center Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and management of the institute. The role combines strategic business development, marketing and sales leadership, academic operations oversight, team management, and customer relationship management to ensure the center achieves its admissions, revenue, operational excellence, and brand-building objectives.
As the face of the institute, the Center Manager will represent Motion Education's values while ensuring an outstanding experience for students, parents, schools, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Growth
- Drive annual, quarterly, and monthly admission targets.
- Develop and execute business growth strategies for JEE, NEET, Foundation, and other academic programs.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strengthen the institute's market position.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and student enrolment goals.
2. Marketing & Sales Leadership
- Lead and mentor the Marketing and Admissions team.
- Design and execute integrated online and offline marketing campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with schools, principals, coaching partners, and educational influencers.
- Monitor lead generation, conversion ratios, admissions funnel, and sales performance.
- Conduct seminars, career guidance sessions, scholarship tests, and promotional events.
- Optimize marketing ROI through effective planning and execution.
3. Center Operations
- Oversee day-to-day functioning of the institute.
- Ensure smooth coordination between Academic, Administration, Marketing, Finance, and Student Support teams.
- Maintain high standards of infrastructure, housekeeping, safety, and discipline.
- Ensure compliance with Motion Education SOPs, policies, and quality standards.
- Monitor utilization of classrooms, laboratories, and institute resources.
4. Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate staff across departments.
- Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve employee issues and encourage a positive work environment.
5. Academic Coordination
- Coordinate closely with Academic Heads and faculty to ensure timely delivery of academic programs.
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and academic outcomes.
- Support implementation of academic initiatives and quality enhancement programs.
- Ensure excellent coordination between academic and administrative functions.
6. Parent & Student Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents and students.
- Conduct regular parent interaction sessions.
- Address escalated grievances promptly and professionally.
- Ensure a high level of student satisfaction and retention.
- Build long-term trust with families through transparent communication.
7. Brand Representation
- Serve as the official representative of the institute.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educational institutions, government authorities, corporate organizations, media, and community leaders.
- Represent the institute during educational fairs, seminars, workshops, and public events.
- Maintain and enhance the reputation and credibility of the Motion Education brand in the region.
8. Financial & Administrative Management
- Prepare and monitor budgets.
- Control operational expenses while maintaining service quality.
- Review admissions, collections, outstanding fees, and financial performance.
- Ensure timely MIS reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate with the franchise management and Motion Education corporate team.
9. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and operational guidelines.
- Maintain documentation and statutory compliance.
- Implement best practices for continuous improvement.
- Ensure data confidentiality and ethical business conduct.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in education, coaching institutes or EdTech.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading sales and operations teams.
- Proven track record of achieving business and admission targets.
