Job Summary
Om Nursing Academy Chandigarh is hiring an experienced, knowledgeable and result-oriented NORCET Faculty to train nursing students for AIIMS NORCET and other government Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse recruitment examinations.
The faculty member will be responsible for complete syllabus coverage, concept-based teaching, previous-year question analysis, topic-wise MCQ practice, weekly tests, full-length mock examinations, revision sessions and student mentoring.
Candidates residing in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula or nearby Tricity areas will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality offline and live online classes for NORCET and Nursing Officer examinations.
- Teach nursing concepts from basic to advanced level using practical and clinical examples.
- Complete the syllabus according to the institute’s academic schedule.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, presentations, assignments and practice sheets.
- Develop topic-wise MCQs, weekly tests, subject tests and full-length mock examinations.
- Discuss previous-year questions and teach effective question-solving strategies.
- Conduct regular revision and doubt-clearing sessions.
- Analyse student performance and provide personalised academic guidance.
- Keep content updated according to the latest syllabus, examination pattern and official notifications.
- Record lectures for the academy’s online platform when required.
- Participate in YouTube classes, webinars and other academic activities.
- Coordinate with the academic and content-development teams.
- Maintain professional discipline, punctuality and teaching quality.
- Guide students regarding preparation strategy, accuracy, speed and time management.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution.
- Strong knowledge of nursing subjects and government nursing-exam patterns.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to teach effectively in Hindi and English.
- Comfortable with classroom, online and recorded teaching formats.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Previous experience teaching NORCET, Nursing Officer or Staff Nurse aspirants.
- M.Sc. Nursing candidates will be preferred.
- Candidates who have qualified AIIMS NORCET or any recognised Nursing Officer examination will have an added advantage.
- Working experience as a Nursing Officer in a government or reputed healthcare institution will be preferred.
- Experience preparing study material, MCQ test series and mock examinations.
- Proven record of student selections will be an advantage.
- Candidates from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula will receive preference.
