Role Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the overall financial health of Wearch Developers, including project accounting, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and financial reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring profitability, cost control, and financial discipline across all real estate and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare annual budgets, project budgets, and financial forecasts
- Monitor budget vs actual performance and analyze variances
- Support strategic financial planning and decision-making
2. Project Accounting & Cost Control
- Maintain project-wise accounts and cost tracking
- Monitor construction costs (materials, labor, subcontractors)
- Ensure proper WIP (Work-in-Progress) tracking and profitability analysis
3. Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Manage daily cash flow and working capital
- Plan fund allocation for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Coordinate with banks for loans, LC, BG, and project financing
4. Billing & Revenue Management
- Oversee client billing, RA bills, and collections
- Verify vendor invoices and payment schedules
- Ensure timely revenue recognition and receivables management
5. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.
- Handle statutory audits, internal audits, and tax filings
- Maintain proper financial documentation and regulatory compliance
6. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Present financial insights to management
- Track key financial KPIs and project performance
7. Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop financial policies and internal control systems
- Ensure proper approval processes and financial discipline
- Identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies
8. Team Management
- Lead and supervise finance & accounts team
- Coordinate with project, procurement, and operations teams
- Train and develop junior staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce / Finance / Accounting
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance (Preferred)
- 7–12 years experience (minimum 3–5 years in construction/real estate)
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting & project finance
- Expertise in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced Excel & financial modelling skills
- Strong analytical, leadership & communication skills
