We’re Hiring | Subject Matter Expert — Digital Fabrication (3D Printing, Laser Cutting & Prototyping)
Makerspace Masters | Full-Time (On-site) / Freelancer (Online)
At Makerspace Masters, we believe ideas become powerful when learners can transform imagination into physical reality.
We design experiences that span from a child’s first cardboard prototype in school to engineering-grade product development in universities, makerspaces, and innovation labs.
We’re looking for a Digital Fabrication Subject Matter Expert who can design hands-on fabrication experiences for learners from Grade 1 through undergraduate and professional innovation programs.
You’ll lead our Digital Fabrication, Rapid Prototyping, CAD Design, and Maker Engineering curriculum—guiding learners from concept sketching to precision manufacturing and functional prototyping.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the Digital Fabrication curriculum cluster Design age-progressive learning pathways for K–12, undergraduate, and innovation lab learners Build experiences ranging from paper prototyping, cardboard engineering, maker construction, and beginner 3D design to engineering-grade CAD modelling, tolerance design, and functional prototyping Design hands-on projects involving 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC concepts, product design, and fabrication workflows Develop structured lesson plans, project documentation, machine workflows, assessments, and facilitator guides Collaborate with Curriculum and Instructional Design teams for LMS-ready content Guide makerspace setup involving fabrication tools, materials, machine calibration, workflow optimization, and safety practices Mentor student innovation projects, competition builds, startup prototypes, and capstone engineering experiences Support facilitator training and classroom/lab delivery
Who we're looking for:
