We are looking for an engineer to help with the design, building, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems, vibration testing equipment, and various custom engineering projects. This is a very hands on position. You will not just sit at a desk all day; you will be building things, wiring things, printing parts, testing systems, and helping solve real world engineering problems. You will work with a team of engineers with the goal of creating the next generation of BSR and NVH products.
The work would include:
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, bills of materials, manuals, and other required engineering documentation
- Participate in regular engineering meetings with the U.S. team
- Develop, test, and qualify prototype hardware to assure product release readiness
- Arduino, sensors, data acquisition, and control systems
- LabVIEW or other test software
- Organizing parts
- Running tests and recording data
- Soldering, cable building, connector work, wiring electronics and test boxes
- 3D printing and basic CAD design
- Support development of MB Dynamics' next-generation power amplifiers, controllers, and shakers (100W through 25kW)
Designing the following circuits(you are not required to know how to do this upon joining):
- High-voltage MOSFET or IGBT power stages,
- Isolated gate drivers
- Current-sensing circuits
- Voltage-feedback loops
- Low-output-resistance stages
- Regenerative energy handling
- DC-bus protection
- Precharge circuits
- Braking circuits
- Snubbers
- IEPE accelerometer inputs and constant current sources
- Instrumentation amplifiers
- Load cell conditioning
- Anti-aliasing filters
- ADC and DAC interfaces
- Differential and common mode signal paths
- Programmable gain stages
- Isolation circuits
- Synchronized measurement channels or using real time data acquisition
- Thermal protection
- Short circuit protection
This position is best for someone who:
- Likes building things
- Is comfortable using tools
- Has worked with Arduino, robotics, cars, 3D printers, or electronics as a hobby
- Has a bachelors in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, robotics, or computer engineering
- Is willing to learn and try things even if they don’t know everything yet
- Can troubleshoot and think logically
- Is not afraid to get their hands dirty
We will prioritize candidates with experience in:
- NVH Passion
- Power electronics
- High power switching amplifiers
- DSP/control systems
- PCB design
- Product development from concept to production
- History of proven working designs of similar products
Important:
We are not looking for someone who only wants to do paperwork or simulations. We need someone who wants to actually build, test, and troubleshoot real systems and help turn ideas into working hardware. The new hire must be able to effectively communicate design, engineering data, and other concepts to MB team members.
Most Important:
We are not looking for the smartest person, we are looking for the most passionate and willing to learn.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
