Position: Senior Accountant (Full-Time)
About the Role
Phitech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of High Voltage Testing Equipment, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong expertise in accounting, financial analysis, taxation, and management reporting. The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage financial operations, analyze company profitability, and provide meaningful financial insights to management. Proficiency in Tally ERP is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliation, and ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, gross profit, net profit, and overall company profitability.
- Analyze revenue trends, financial variances, and identify revenue leakage, unnecessary expenses, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, debtor/creditor ageing, outstanding payments, and payment planning.
- Handle accounting entries, ledgers, and reporting with Tally ERP.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools for management reporting.
- Generate MIS reports and provide actionable financial insights for cost control and profitability improvement.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial records.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, Chartered Accountants, and tax consultants.
- Maintain strong financial controls, accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of financial data.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; CA Inter, CMA Inter, M.Com, or MBA Finance preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Tally ERP (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, revenue and profitability analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards).
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent English communication skills (speaking and writing compulsory).
