Job Summary
A skilled Draughtsman with 3 years of experience in architectural drafting is responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and plans based on design concepts provided by architects. The role involves ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of drawings for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, working drawings, and detailed plans using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit etc.).
- Collaborate with architects and designers to translate concepts into technical drawings.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
- Assist in site measurements and incorporate changes into drawings.
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, and plumbing teams for integrated drawings.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit/SketchUp is a plus.
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards.
- Good knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an architectural firm.
