Job Summary
We are looking for responsible and dedicated Hostel Wardens to manage student hostels and ensure a safe, disciplined, and comfortable living environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise students and maintain hostel discipline.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all hostel residents.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Address student concerns and provide guidance when needed.
- Monitor student attendance and hostel activities.
- Collect hostel fees and maintain related records.
- Manage room allotments and hostel occupancy.
- Maintain hostel registers, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security staff.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and proper upkeep of hostel facilities.
- Handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Enforce hostel rules and regulations.
- Maintain visitor records and monitor entry/exit procedures.
- Support student welfare and create a positive hostel environment.
Eligibility
- Education: Plus Two / Diploma / Any Graduate.
- Age: 35 years and above.
- Previous experience in hostel management, student affairs, administration, customer service, or related fields is preferred.
- Retired professionals and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Skills Required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle students and parent interactions professionally.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Excel).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Responsible, disciplined, and approachable personality.
