Description
As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and building high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work as part of a collaborative cross-functional team, developing clean, efficient, and scalable code while ensuring an exceptional user experience. This role requires hands-on expertise in React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, and familiarity with integrating APIs and native modules.
Responsibilities
You will be working as a React Native Developer, collaborating closely with project managers, QA engineers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver outstanding mobile solutions. You would be required to participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily standups.
Your key Responsibilities will include:
- Architecting, developing, and maintaining mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
- Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Implementing pixel-perfect UI designs and ensuring smooth, modern animations and transitions.
- Integrating third-party APIs and managing native modules when required.
- Conducting unit and integration testing to ensure app reliability and performance.
- Managing app releases on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Collaborating with team members to build and refine project estimates, timelines, and deliverables.
- Participating in sprint retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups.
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members via Slack, Zoom, and email.
- Tracking work progress and productivity using tools like Toggle, Jira, GitHub, and Google Workspace.
- Following the company’s established development process and quality assurance standards.
Required Skills
Primary Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of proven experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Proficiency in ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with RESTful API integration and third-party library implementations.
- Strong understanding of mobile app design principles and development cycles.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Experience with building and deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Ability to work effectively in agile and startup environments.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Secondary Technical Skills:
- Understanding of native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Exposure to AppCenter, Firebase, or other mobile deployment tools.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration.
