Job Summary
A Site Architect is responsible for supervising architectural execution at construction sites and ensuring that the design intent is properly translated into reality. The role involves coordination between architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients while maintaining quality, timelines, and technical accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Execution
- Monitor day-to-day site activities and architectural execution.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports.
- Verify dimensions, levels, and finishing quality on site.
Drawing & Documentation
- Interpret and execute GFC (Good for Construction) drawings.
- Coordinate revisions and issue updated drawings to site teams.
- Prepare site sketches/details whenever required.
- Maintain site records, BOQs, and material approvals.
Coordination
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and interior consultants.
- Work closely with contractors, vendors, and labour teams.
- Attend site meetings with clients and consultants.
- Resolve site-related technical and design issues.
Quality Control
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishing standards.
- Check materials and mock-ups before execution.
- Monitor waterproofing, flooring, cladding, painting, and finishing works.
- Ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards.
Project Management Support
- Track project timelines and report delays/issues.
- Assist in material planning and site logistics.
- Monitor contractor productivity and execution sequencing.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and working drawings.
- Good site coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple vendors and consultants.
Software Knowledge
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- MS Excel & MS Project
- Basic understanding of BOQ and estimation software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch)
- 1–5 years of site experience preferred
- Experience in residential, hospitality, or villa projects is an advantage
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
