Job Description:
Axis Max Life Insurance is seeking an Associate Sales Manager for our Branch Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and achieving targets in a competitive insurance market. The Associate Sales Manager will work closely with the branch team to develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities and provide exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing suitable insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with branch staff to identify potential leads and conduct product presentations.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills to achieve sales goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, providing insights on customer behavior and preferences.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Tools and Technologies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking client interactions and sales performance.
- Knowledge of insurance products and regulations.
- Understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques to enhance sales outreach.
