The Project Management Team oversees the organization, planning, and implementation of our Med-Metrix Suite of Products and Services. The Project Manager works closely with an experienced team of Med-Metrix Subject Matter Experts with operational expertise in both Healthcare Finance and Revenue Cycle Services to provide the best in-class service to our customers and will work directly with our clients to implement service engagements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage large multi-faceted project/program and multiple large projects at the same time ensuring project deliverables are completed in a timely manner, which may include Project Staffing, Remote Access Connectivity, and Systems Training Gather operational documentation such as SOPs, Managed Care contracts, etc.
Lead high level operational discussions related to project scope
Provide weekly status reporting to customers, management team, and internal staff
Proactively communicates and manages expectations of both internal and external stakeholders by facilitating weekly calls, recording detailed meeting minutes, identifies next steps in the process, and diligently follows up on all open activities until project completion
Ensures project deliverables are met timely, to the satisfaction of our customers, and meet the high-quality standards that have been set by Med-MetrixLead teams in high priority risk situations by coordinating and instilling a sense of urgency where applicable across multiple internal and client cross functional teams
Acts as point of escalation for critical implementation-related risks and facilitate their timely resolution
Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all timesLimit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study required
3+ years of Project Management experience required
PMP certification is preferred, but not required
Experience in Revenue Cycle, required
Ability to work independently and as a team
Energetic with strong desire to learn
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction
