Job Title: US Accountant

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented US Accountant to manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting operations for multiple US-based clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of US accounting principles and hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online.
Freshers with a strong academic background in Accounting/Finance and a willingness to learn US accounting processes are also welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping for multiple US-based clients.
- Perform bank, credit card, loan, and merchant account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
- Complete catch-up and clean-up bookkeeping projects.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare financial reports and management summaries.
- Support tax preparation by maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 0–2 years of experience in US bookkeeping or accounting. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification.
- Experience with Xero, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
- Knowledge of US payroll and sales tax processes.
