As a member of our production team, you will bridge the gap between a design concept and the final product. You won’t just be stitching; you will be helping us bring new outfits and cutting edge westernwear trends to our racks. If you have strong technical garment construction skills and an obsession with current fashion movements, we want you!
Key Responsibilities
- Garment Stitching & Assembly: Execute high-quality stitching, tailoring, and alterations for sample pieces and production runs.
- Trend Interpretation: Translate current westernwear trends (silhouettes, cuts, and aesthetics) into physical, well-fitted garments.
- Pattern & Sample Development: Assist in developing prototypes for new outfits and experimental designs.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished garments to ensure they meet our brand's standards for fit, stitching strength, and overall finish.
- Material Collaboration: Work with fabrics common in modern westernwear (denim, knits, linens, satin, etc.) and understand how they drape and behave.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Proven Stitching Skills: Strong, practical experience in garment construction, sewing machine operation, and tailoring.
- Fashion Savvy: Deep knowledge of current fashion trends, viral styles, and upcoming seasonal looks.
- Westernwear Expertise: Thorough understanding of westernwear categories (e.g., streetwear, co-ord sets, dresses, corsets, tailored trousers).
- Eye for Detail: Precision in cutting, stitching, and finishing.
- Creativity: Ability to look at a trend photo or sketch and understand how to construct it.
