1. Safety Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
2. Risk Assessment:
Perform risk assessments and identify potential hazards associated with construction activities. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
3. Training and Education: Organize and conduct safety training sessions for employees and contractors. Ensure that all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
4. Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations.
5. Emergency Response: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures. Coordinate emergency drills and ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and standards. Ensure that the construction site complies with all relevant safety and health regulations.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities. Prepare and submit regular safety reports to management.
Qualification in Safety (Minimum 1-year fulltime course is mandatory) or NEBOSH IGC & above or B. Tech degree with 1 years of Industrial experience or Diploma (any engineering discipline) with minimum 4 years of industrial work experience or Science Graduate with minimum 4 years of industrial work experience or Any other graduation with 10 years of industrial experience or ITI with minimum 10 year of industrial experience or 12th (any stream) with minimum 10 year of industrial experience.
