Role Overview
We are looking for more than just a Teacher. We need a warm, nurturing, and responsible individual who can be a 'second mother' to our youngest learners, providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where children in Std 1 and 2 build strong academic foundations along with emotional and social confidence. This role is based at our new CBSE school and is a unique opportunity to shape the earliest and most formative years of a child's school life.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Teaching & Management
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons across subjects as per the CBSE curriculum for Std 1 and 2
- Maintain complete responsibility for the class as the primary caregiver and teacher through the school day
- Build strong foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and language through activity-based and experiential learning
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and daily activities
- Ensure the classroom is a clean, safe, welcoming, and well-organized space at all times
Student Engagement & Holistic Development
- Nurture emotional security, discipline, and good habits through patient, affectionate, and consistent care
- Design and conduct creative activities, storytelling, rhymes, and play-based learning sessions
- Collaborate with subject teachers and the school leadership to integrate co-curricular activities into daily routines
- Organise and participate in events such as Annual Day, festivals, and classroom celebrations
- Curate engaging, child-friendly classroom displays and learning corners
Out-of-the-Box Initiatives
- Introduce innovative, hands-on projects to make learning joyful and memorable for young children
- Use simple digital and audio-visual tools to support early learning where appropriate
- Develop a rewards and recognition system to motivate and encourage young learners
- Build strong parent partnerships through regular communication on the child's development and well-being
Administrative & Reporting
- Maintain classroom records, report cards, and other academic documentation as required
- Coordinate with parents through PTMs, diaries, and regular updates on academic and behavioural progress
- Prepare periodic reports on student development and classroom activities
- Suggest and implement improvements to classroom systems and processes
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Graduate with a B.Ed (Nursery Teacher Training / ECCEd qualification preferred)
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching primary classes, preferably in a CBSE school
- Comfortable with digital tools and basic computer skills
- Fluency in English, Gujarati & Hindi

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
