About SimplifiNest
SimplifiNest is a Pune-based D2C home essentials brand building ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture and kitchen/home organization products for the Indian home. We sell across our own website, Amazon, Flipkart, and Blinkit, and have crossed ₹1.01 Crore in GMV bootstrapped within 7 months of launch — growing at roughly 30% month-on-month.
The company is founded by IIM postgraduates who left corporate careers to build SimplifiNest from the ground up.
Our positioning is simple: be the “IKEA for India” in the affordable-functional home essentials space — designed for Indian homes, priced for Indian wallets, and built on a tight feedback loop from customers back to our factory floor. We're recognized under DPIIT (DIPP251149) and registered as an MSME (UDYAM-MH-26-0945616).
We're a lean, founder-led team that moves fast and expects the same from everyone we bring on — including this role.
Role Overview
We're hiring a Brand Manager to own SimplifiNest's social media presence and influencer ecosystem end-to-end. This is a remote role for someone who can independently run our Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels, build and manage influencer relationships (largely barter-based), and keep our website content fresh using AI tools — all while working directly with the founders.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Plan, schedule, and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- Build and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned to product launches, sales, and brand campaigns
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and grow community presence organically
- Track channel performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) and report monthly
Influencer Collaboration
- Source and shortlist influencers/creators fit for SimplifiNest's audience and aesthetic
- Negotiate and close collaborations, primarily on a barter (product-for-content) basis
- Brief creators clearly on video requirements, deliverables, and timelines, and ensure ASCI-compliant disclosures
- Track collab pipeline end-to-end — outreach, agreement, shoot, delivery, and posting — and ensure deadlines are met
Content Creation (Good to Have)
- Shoot and/or edit short-form content (Reels/YouTube Shorts) when required
- Support basic creative/design needs (Canva or similar) as an additional, not core, responsibility
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in social media or brand management, ideally in a D2C / e-commerce setup
- Proven comfort negotiating and managing influencer partnerships, especially barter deals
- Hands-on familiarity with AI content tools for writing and ideation
- Strong written communication and an eye for what works on Instagram/YouTube
- Self-starter who can operate independently in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
- Bonus: experience shooting or editing short-form video content
