Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety & Quality Officer to ensure that all project activities are executed in compliance with company safety standards, client quality requirements, and statutory regulations. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, ensuring quality of work, training employees, and maintaining safety and quality documentation across all project sites.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and SOPs across all project sites.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure proper use of PPE (Helmet, Safety Shoes, Gloves, Harness, Reflective Jackets, etc.).
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and Safety Training for employees and contractors.
- Prepare and maintain safety records, inspection reports, and incident reports.
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and client safety guidelines.
- Monitor work permits for excavation, HDD, cable laying, hot work, and confined space activities.
Quality Management
- Ensure project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor quality of HDD, OFC, HT UG/OH, Railway Crossing, NH Crossing, and Cable Laying works.
- Conduct quality inspections and prepare quality checklists.
- Verify materials received at site and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor testing activities including Hi-Pot Testing and Fault Detection documentation.
- Identify quality deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Clients for quality approvals and inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain safety and quality records for all sites.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Safety & Quality Reports.
- Maintain training records, audit reports, NCRs, CAPA, and compliance documents.
- Support audits conducted by clients and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain incident registers and safety statistics.

- Experience in Infrastructure or Construction Industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of HDD, Excavation Safety, Cable Laying Safety, and Electrical Safety.
- Familiarity with Railway and Highway project safety requirements.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to train and influence employees on safety culture.
Travel Requirement
✔ Extensive travel and site visits are mandatory across Gujarat and other project locations.
✔ Candidate should be willing to stay at project sites whenever required.
