Project Overview The "Empowerment of Women Farmers in Gadchiroli" project will work with tribal communities in the remote villages of Dhanora and Korchi blocks. It aims to strengthen women's institutions, climate-resilient agriculture, forest and livestock-based livelihoods, nutrition and health, inclusive participation, and evidence-based programme delivery. The approach emphasizes community ownership through women's SHGs, producer organizations, Gram Sabhas, government convergence, and sustainable local enterprises.
The coordinator will manage the field-level data management and learning system, maintain the local project database, ensure accurate collation of participant and output data, and support evidence-based tracking across project themes.
Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Experience
3-6 years of hands-on experience in database management, data entry, and MIS operations, preferably in development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, update, and maintain the project MIS database daily.
- Implement digital reporting systems with M&E and field teams and ensure timely reporting.
- Train field staff on mobile data collection applications and resolve on-site technical issues. ï Participate in reviews, present data progress, and verify field data accuracy.
- Extract and visualize data for monitoring and evaluation dashboards.
- Conduct data quality assessments and clean errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with programme leaders to ensure timely data collection and MIS updates.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and accurate presentation.
- Support multidisciplinary field teams and field-level data workflows.
- Travel to remote field sites to audit data collection and support field staff.
Languages: Marathi and/or Hindi required; Gondi is highly desirable. Ability to speak, read, and write the local language is necessary.
Period: Sep 2026 - May 2027 (8 months) Extendable for additional 2 years based on performance and project funding
