Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Civil Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil construction practices, excellent site coordination skills, and the ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, labour, materials, and site activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Structural Consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignments, and quality of construction work.
- Ensure proper execution of RCC, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues before execution.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and measurement records.
- Monitor project progress against the approved construction schedule and highlight delays or constraints.
- Ensure proper utilization and availability of construction materials, manpower, tools, and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and ensure that work meets specified quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and resolution of quality issues.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare and verify quantities, measurements, material requirements, and work completion records.
- Assist in preparation and checking of BOQs, rate analysis, quantity take-offs, and material estimates where required.
- Ensure proper setting-out and execution of works as per drawings and approved benchmarks.
- Coordinate with surveyors for levels, layouts, and site measurements.
- Identify site issues, provide practical engineering solutions, and escalate critical matters to management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site security requirements.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working practices across the site.
- Participate in client/consultant inspections and coordinate closure of observations and snags.
- Support testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure all site records are updated and traceable.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings.
- Good knowledge of surveying, levelling, quantity estimation, and measurements.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Knowledge of project scheduling and construction planning is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities under deadlines.

Salary: ₹35,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
