Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Altium CAD Engineer to create, modify, and maintain high-quality PCB layouts using Altium Designer. The ideal candidate should have experience in multilayer PCB design, manufacturing documentation, and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles. The role requires close coordination with hardware engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure accurate and production-ready PCB designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
- Convert schematics into PCB layouts while maintaining design integrity.
- Create multilayer, high-speed, RF, and mixed-signal PCB layouts as required.
- Generate manufacturing outputs including:
- ◦ Gerber files◦ ODB++ files◦ NC Drill files◦ Assembly drawings◦ Fabrication drawings◦ Pick-and-Place files◦ Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Perform Design Rule Checks (DRC) and Electrical Rule Checks (ERC).
- Apply DFM, DFA, and DFT guidelines to improve manufacturability and assembly.
- Work with fabrication and assembly teams to resolve PCB manufacturing issues.
- Create and maintain component libraries and footprints in Altium.
- Verify stack-up, impedance requirements, trace widths, spacing, and controlled impedance designs.
- Support engineering change orders (ECOs) and design revisions.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision control.
- Coordinate with procurement regarding component availability and alternate footprints.
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards and customer specifications.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in PCB layout design using Altium Designer.
- Experience in PCB manufacturing or EMS industry is preferred.

- Strong proficiency in Altium Designer.

- Familiarity with ECAD library management.
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI design practices is an advantage.
- Experience with HDI, Flex, Rigid-Flex, or RF PCB design.
- Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.
- Familiarity with CAM review tools.
- Basic scripting or automation in Altium is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
