Operation & Monitoring
Operate the RO plant, including pre-treatment, RO membranes, and post-treatment systems.
Monitor parameters like pressure, flow rate, conductivity, pH, and TDS.
Ensure uninterrupted supply of purified water for production.
2. Maintenance
Perform routine checks and preventive maintenance of pumps, valves, membranes, and filters.
Carry out membrane cleaning (CIP – Clean-in-Place) as per schedule.
Replace cartridges, filters, and chemicals when required.
3. Water Quality Control
Ensure treated water meets required standards (especially for pharma-grade MCC production).
Record and analyze water quality parameters regularly.
Coordinate with QA/QC team for testing and validation.
4. Documentation
Maintain logbooks for daily operations, maintenance, and breakdowns.
Record consumption of chemicals and utilities.
Follow GMP documentation practices.
5. Troubleshooting
Identify and resolve issues like pressure drops, membrane fouling, or system leaks.
Take corrective actions to maintain system efficiency.
6. Safety & Compliance
Follow safety guidelines while handling chemicals and operating equipment.
Ensure compliance with GMP, environmental, and regulatory standards.
