Job Description: Pathologist Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad (On-site) Department: Clinical Diagnostics / Pathology Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a medical professional to join our core diagnostic team as a Pathologist. In this role, you will lead daily diagnostic reporting, oversee quality control (IQC & EQAS) protocols, and collaborate closely with our operations team to maintain high accuracy and quick turnaround times across Biochemistry and Hematology. Key Responsibilities ● Diagnostic Reporting & Oversight: ○ Perform daily verification, sign-off, and clinical interpretation of Biochemistry and Hematology samples. ○ Review auto-analyzer outputs, peripheral blood smears, and abnormal test results. ● Quality Assurance & NABL Compliance: ○ Monitor daily Internal Quality Control (IQC) data, evaluate Levey-Jennings (L-J) charts, and apply Westgard rules. ○ Review External Quality Assurance Scheme (EQAS) results and drive corrective actions for any discrepancies. ○ Ensure routine laboratory processes align with NABL guidelines (ISO 15189 standards). ● Cross-Functional Operations: ○ Work closely with the Lab Operations team and senior lab technicians to streamline sample processing and minimize turnaround time (TAT). ○ Provide clinical guidance to technicians on sample handling, rerun protocols, and instrument calibration.
Requirements & Qualifications ● Education: MD Pathology from an NMC-recognized institution. ● Licensure: Active registration with the Telangana State Medical Council (or National Medical Commission). ● Experience: 6 months to 3 years of clinical lab experience. ● Technical Focus: Strong interest and background in routine and high-volume Hematology and Clinical Biochemistry. ● Preferred Certifications: 4-Day ISO 15189:2022 Quality Management Systems / Internal Auditor training (preferred, or willing to complete after joining).
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹140,000.00 per month
